New Basic Computer series coming December 12 and 13

The CYC Center is taking sign-ups for a new round of Basic Computer and Internet classes starting on Tuesday, December 12 and Wednesday, December 13.

The free sixteen-hour "beginner" course includes eight two-hour classes over a four-week period.  But in this case, that four-week period will be split in two, with two weeks (four classes) in December, and the other two weeks in January.  The Center will be closed for the holidays from Saturday, December 23 through Monday, January 8, with classes resuming on January 9.

There's a morning series on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to noon, and an afternoon series on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 pm to 4 pm.  Here's a description of the subjects they cover.

All classes take place at the CYC Center in the Brooklyn Center shopping plaza, between the CVS and Georgio's Pizza.
